We are looking for an experienced and proactive Air Export – Pricing professional to manage freight pricing, airline negotiations, and customer service for export shipments. This role is key to offering competitive pricing, optimal routing, and high levels of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of air freight dynamics, a network within the airline industry, and the ability to drive business through effective rate quoting and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate competitive air freight rates with airlines to optimize margins and space allocation.
- Provide timely and accurate quotations for air export shipments based on customer requirements.
- Respond to customer queries related to pricing, service options, shipment status, and potential value-added services.
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships with a focus on retention and upselling.
- Coordinate with airlines for space booking and confirmation upon shipment finalization.
- Support the sales team by guiding Sales Support Executives and providing technical pricing assistance.
- Act as the main liaison between internal teams, airlines, overseas agents, and clients to ensure seamless coordination of export operations.
- Ensure timely updates to customers regarding rate submissions, booking status, shipment tracking, and delivery updates.
- Prepare and publish internal and external rate schedules and assist in special pricing agreements with overseas partners.
- Maintain pricing records and support in strategic pricing initiatives to keep Fast Logistics competitive.
- Follow up on documentation, billing, and clearance coordination, and ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
- Share daily reports and activity updates with reporting heads and stakeholders.
- Lead marketing and branding efforts of air export services through campaigns and customer engagement.
